Hello everyone and a big welcome back after the holidays. I hope you haven't eaten too many Easter eggs!!! Just to let you all know that 2K will be having an assembly next Friday - 1st May at 3.00pm in the hall. The children have all received their lines so please practice at home as much as possible.

Well done to all the children who made an Easter bonnet. You were very creative. And a big congratulations to the winner who got a lovely Easter egg to celebrate!

2K Presentations

Hi Year 2
Just a reminder that it is our turn to bring in cakes for the cake sale tomorrow so get baking!!! (or just pop to the shops like me!!)

Last week we practised sewing so that we can make our puppets. Lots of us have designed hand and finger puppets which we will make next week in class. I am looking forward to seeing the results 2K.

2K had a great time on Friday when Florence Nightingale came to visit us. We listened to her talk all about her life and then she brought in some artefacts for us to have a look at. Next she chose some of us to get dressed up as a nurse and a soldier and someone to pretend to chop of the soldiers leg! It really hurt!!!!! Florence Nightingale was brilliant fun and the children really enjoyed it.
